1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. They allow sites to remember information — for example, that you are signed in or which theme you prefer.
2. Essential cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication, session management, and preserving your UI preferences (such as theme). These are required for CareerGenie to function.
3. Authentication / session cookies
Sign-in state is stored securely so you don't need to log in on every page. These cookies are cleared when you sign out.
4. Analytics cookies
Advanced product analytics are not connected yet. When enabled, the analytics provider and cookie details will be described here and consent will be requested where required.
5. Preference cookies
Preference cookies remember lightweight UI choices such as your theme. They do not contain personal data.
6. Third-party cookies
Third-party trackers (advertising, marketing pixels, chat widgets) are not enabled. Any future additions will be listed here alongside their purpose.
7. Managing cookies
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using CareerGenie normally.
