Cancellation Policy
Subscription cancellation workflows will be finalized when billing integration is activated. Enterprise and Education agreements may follow contract-specific terms.

1. Subscription cancellation
Once paid billing is activated, subscriptions will be cancellable from the billing workspace. Self-service cancellation is not yet implemented — do not rely on any in-product cancel button as final until this policy is enforced.
2. Free plan
The Free plan requires no cancellation. You may stop using CareerGenie at any time and request account deletion via Data Deletion.
3. Pro Candidate cancellation
When enabled, Pro Candidate subscriptions will remain active through the current billing period after cancellation, unless stated otherwise in the finalized policy.
4. Recruiter plan cancellation
Recruiter plan cancellation terms will be published alongside paid activation and may differ from candidate plans.
5. Enterprise / Education agreements
Enterprise and Education agreements follow the terms in the signed contract and are not subject to self-service cancellation.
6. Access after cancellation
After cancellation, access to paid features will end at the conclusion of the current billing period. Free features may remain available.
7. Data retention after cancellation
Account and profile data are retained for a reasonable period to allow reactivation and to meet operational needs. See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. Re-activation
Cancelled subscriptions may be reactivated by signing in and re-subscribing once paid billing is enabled.
